A diverse family gathered together outside their home

Equitable housing

We build gentle spaces where everyone belongs.

UGTS works toward safe, inclusive, and culturally grounded housing pathways for women, families, youth, and communities who continue to face barriers to stability and belonging.

Housing for our whole community

For women.
For families.
For youth.

Housing should reflect the full diversity of the people who call British Columbia home. UGTS centres racialized and marginalized families, Indigenous peoples, Black communities, newcomers, children, youth, women, seniors, and people living with disabilities.

We believe every person deserves more than shelter. They deserve a place where dreams feel safe, culture is honoured, and belonging does not have to be earned.

Our housing work today

Housing is more than a roof.

Safety, relationships, structure, cultural connection, recovery support, and practical opportunities allow housing to become a foundation for lasting change.

These initiatives are in development. UGTS will communicate each project honestly as properties, partnerships, approvals, and funding are secured.
